The FlowGuard 6282 is advanced transmitter.

The 6282 Advanced Pressure transmitter is advanced processor or the device that is a transmitter. This aimed for the standard pressure measurement tasks. The device is designed with the user and the installer in mind. 

The device reduces many of the problems that traditional and old sensors suffer from and provide as much flexibility as possible. 

The processor has a field selectable feature like signal output (mA or Vold) and a Signal volt output (0-10, 0-5, 2-10). 

There are different predefined measuring limits i.e. 5, 10 … depending on the selected models are also available. 

With these given options you can cover most situations for room pressure measurements in one sensor. For the application with the user selectable rooms modes i.e. switch for positive room pressure, Negative room pressure and neutral room pressure a bidirectional[B]  model is used.  In a dual room mode the CPS works and handles all 4 alarm i.e. negative high, low, low alarm, and positive high that the 6282 have. The installation is very easy and simple with the 6282 by using the display and push buttons configuring the settings. 

The sensor consists of a silicone membrane and it works with a capacitive technique.  The sensor is very accurate and it is durable.  

A simple alarm function can be achieved with the optional relay[R] . For example measuring pressure of the room. If the pressure is too low a LED light tower that is connected directly to 6280 relay will warn the staff with light by the door. It is very quick and easy for installations. If wanted the alarm level can be reached by Modbus. All settings and parameters can be reached from a BMS/Scada through Modbus.
