Flameproof solvent vapors transmitter for ATEX Zones 2 & 22

Flameproof Solvent Vapors Detector-Transmitter is designed to detect compounds with ionizing potential < 10.6 eV. It is manufactured by Evikon MCI Ltd, Estonia, specializing in gas detection systems. The system uses extremely sensitive photoionization detectors (PIDs) with remarkably low minimum detection rates. The system is designed for safe zone operation and ATEX Zones 2 and 22.

This flameproof solvent vapors detector-transmitter can be controlled by Modbus RTU commands via its RS485 interface. The RS485 Modbus RTU digital communication interface enables fast configuration of the instrument and incorporation into different automation systems. It also features 2 independent analog outputs. Users can configure it to 4-20 mA or 0-10 V, proportional to the concentration of either gas or temperature.

It has a robust flameproof metal enclosure and is wall-mounted. It has relay outputs available. Two RE1 and RE2 relays with closing contacts can be used to turn alarm sirens, ventilators, shut-off valves or other actuators operated at 24 V or 230 V. The device can be calibrated monthly or more frequently depending on the operating conditions.
