The barbeque thermometer consists of a base station with a wireless handheld receiver to control temperature during grilling, frying and baking. The thermometer has an option to select 5 levels of cooking for 8 types of meat/food. It has an acoustic alarm accompanied by a visual alarm function. The handheld receiver has a radio range of 20 m. The base station and handheld receiver are powered by 2AAA 1.5 V battery each. It has an easy-to-read LVD display. The handheld receiver and base station have a magnetic holder.
