HWG-SH4 PING RESTARTER monitors the functionality of a device over IP
HWg-SH4 is a device which is monitors the functionality of a device over IP or a serial line and automatically restarts it upon the failure. The web watchdog monitors and observes the two independent channels.
The industrial version IP watchdog frequently monitors the functionality of a device by transferring or receiving a specified “I am alive and Ok” signal over the Ip or RS-23 or back-up connection is activated. If the correct reply is not received in specific time the device is restarted with a relay.
IP WatchDog can also monitor two independent channels or devices. Industrial applications are benefited from DIN rail compatibility. Here, in case of failures , it is detected with five distinct methods, separately for each channel.
