Refrigeration manifold model no VAC-570-1 is used to carry out quick and reliable measurements on the refrigeration system and heat pumps. It has 40 refrigerants stored in the instrument. It calculates superheating and subcooling simultaneously. It includes a clamp temperature probe for measuring the surface temperature of pipes. Complex manual comparisons and calculations (e.g. of superheating and subcooling), which would be necessary when using analogue manifolds, are not needed. It is capable of considerably more than just measurement. It stores all measurement data, right from commissioning, to service and maintenance, through to the error analysis of a system.
