GSM Gateway for Text Messages (SMS)
GSM Gateway is a SMS gateway which is used for sending a text message alarms over a LAN. It sends sms alarms from other HW group products and software through a single gateway and a single SIM. It does not need software. It works over a LAN at the Box-2-Box level. The HW group devices and software tools use HWg-SMS-GW to send the text messages through SMS and cell messages. The message recipient’s phone number is configured in the LAN device or software that sends the alarm.
Users of our Ethernet SMS gateway it avoid complicated management by using just one sim card.
It only depends upon sms by email. The product does not spend on the internet connectivity to send cell message alerts.
Advantages
It is a web based configuration.
It does not need software to run anywhere in order to send the text messages. To communicate over the LAN Box-2-Box mode allows two devices example a Poseidon2 and the SMS GW.
The phone number of the message recipient’s is configured in the sending device. HWg-SMS-GW text message gateway can be used to send the SMS alarms to dozens of different recipients.
Sms gateway also supports a SMS and Ring function which dials a call to the alarm message recipient’s number and let the phone ring for a short time.
The device can be used with an external antenna even at places with poor GSM coverage or data center.
GSM coverage work with Quad Band from anywhere in the world.
