A cutting-edge transmitter with an installer- and user-friendly design is the Advance Sensor with Air Change (ACPH) 6283. Many of the issues that plague conventional sensors are resolved by the 6283, which also offers the greatest amount of flexibility. Field-selectable characteristics on the device include Unit (Pascal, l/s m/s ACPH), Signal output (mA or Volt), and Signal volt outputs (0- 10, 0-5, 2-10). Depending on the models chosen, a variety of predefined measuring ranges (5, 10) are available. The user can alter these ranges to alternative values. For instance, if you choose the 50 range and would like to convert it to a 0-60 range. 

You can cover the majority of conditions for measuring room pressure, HVAC duct flow, and other things with all these settings in one sensor. Choose unit l/s or ACPH if the airflow is in a duct. Duct size and k-factor should be set for l/s. Simply adjust room loudness for ACPH. The output is set up to operate in Uni or Bidirectional mode if the room pressure application and 6283 [B] Bidirectional version are both present. The 6283 also features a display and push buttons to make the settings simple during installation.
